As Research Director of the Trans Health Resource Project at Gender Benders, I lead a team of sociologists, political scientists, public health researchers, and community organizers who are committed to using social research to develop evidence-based community level interventions that promote the health and well-being of trans, non-binary, and gender diverse people in the U.S. Southeast through access to HIV care, gender affirming care, and social and emotional support.
